Based on the acclaimed 2014 short film by Rod Blackhurst and Bryce McGuire, the film stars Ray Waller, a former Major League baseball player forced into early retirement due to a degenerative disease, who moves into a new house with his caring wife Eve, teenage daughter Izzy and son Elliot. Secretly hoping, against all odds, to play professionally again, Ray convinces Eve that the shiny pool in the back yard of his new house will be fun for the kids and good physical therapy for him. But a dark secret in the house’s past will unleash an evil force that will drag the family into the depths of the deepest terror.
