A trio of tennis players meet during a competition at a young age and between the two friends, Art and Patrick, the beautiful Tashi enters forcefully. The ménage a trois, however, is resolved and Tashi ends up marrying Art, but Patrick, also because of tennis, continues to orbit in the lives of the two… Luca Guadagnino faces his Jules and Jim with a cast of trendy young people, this once with Zendaya, Patrick O’Connor – launched by The Crown where he played the young Prince Charles – and Mike Faist, seen in West Side Story. He will certainly highlight their fluidity, in this assisted by his new partner, the American screenwriter and playwright Justin Kuritzkes, who also wrote the difficult adaptation of Checca by William S. Burroughs for Guadagnino.
